M-PESA Daraja
LifLif is a multi-service delivery platform in Kenya with 10k+ downloads. As Team Lead & Product Engineer I work across its Laravel backend and the Flutter apps for riders, customers and vendors.
What I built
- A v3 ordering API for multi-drop "tied" parcel orders: route quotes, haversine distances and a charge allocator that splits one route's price across its parcels.
- ETA estimates from the Google Routes API and geofenced rider check-ins that refuse check-ins outside a branch radius.
- Background location tracking in the driver app with a disk-backed queue and batched, retried uploads, plus idle telemetry and notification callbacks.
- M-PESA wallet and parcel payments, pickup and delivery OTPs, and base-fare parcel pricing in the customer app, shipped with Shorebird over-the-air updates.
